Red Shoes Opportunities
Ventura County Ballet Company, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation, is driven by a strong volunteer and donor base, Red Shoes, which is the fundraising arm of Ventura County Ballet Company. The mission of this group is to preserve and promote ballet as part of the rich arts fabric of Ventura County.
Red Shoes funds complimentary ballet tickets and free outreach demonstrations to underserved children in our community. We also fund operating expenses for the performances of the ballet company.
These performances, which feature professional dancers, serve as a training ground for Ventura County Ballet Company’s pre-professional dancers who go on to professional ballet companies and major universities to study dance. The funds raised by Red Shoe’s helps Ventura County Ballet inspire and shape the “dreams “of our community’s youth…and the young at heart.
You can help by:
- Becomeing a Red Shoes volunteer; and lending a hand in the office by stuffing envelopes
- Serving on an Event Committee
- Sponsor -Investing in our youth by becoming a sponsor of Ventura County Ballet Company and invest in our county and its youth through the arts.
